Set out correctly

Put confirmed items at the curb by 6 am on the assigned day. Keep the road and sidewalk open. Incorrect address, placement or more than five items can prevent collection.

Drain fluids from listed powered outdoor equipment and tanks as directed. Remove bulbs where the listed lamp or fan category excludes them. Do not assume a furniture set is counted as one item; have booking staff confirm its counted quantity.

Accepted-list scope

The five sections below reproduce every named example in the official list: furniture, appliances, sports/fitness, outdoor equipment and other household items. The City describes them as examples, so this is the complete published example scope, not a promise that every possible object is eligible.

Regular garbage and blue bags are excluded and belong on the normal collection route. Use What Goes Where for an item not clearly listed or approved.

Special disposal

Batteries, beverage containers, electronics, lighting, oil/glycol, paint, sharps and used tires have separately linked disposal routes. These links do not make them eligible for bulky curbside pickup.

Before discarding, consider whether a safely reusable item can be donated through an appropriate operator. This guide does not claim a donation pickup service or a collection fee not stated on the municipal page.
